Mirko Rotondi (Albano Laziale, 1973) is a Designer Photographer.

After attending the Art College as a student of the great painter Manlio Rondoni, he got a degree at the European Institute of Design. His first images are in b/w; he learnt to prints high quality photographs in his dark-room, studying the Zone Exposure on Ansel Adams books. Initially he got a part-time job as a black and white portraitist, signing some covers of the famous italian magazines Chitarre and Percussioni. In the running years he left this field to focusing on modern temes such as the relationship betweens the citizens and the modern lifestyle in the rising urban space of Asian Megalopolis, developing his own style between reportage and conceptual photography. In 2007 he got and advanced course of photography and editing with James Nachtwey and David Alan Harvey (Thailand). In 2008 He won the prestigious "Corbis Prize" at "Eyes on the Planet" international contest, with his picture "Equilibrium of Chaos" (the impressive building site of Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore). His images were published on Biennale di Alessandria 2011, Art Verona, Zoom Magazine, Il Sole 24 Ore, Immagini Foto-Pratica, and exhibitied in Italy, Finland and Thailand. Mirko Rotondi lives in Italy with his beloved Wife.
